To get on a character's route, you need to participate in the chat rooms from Day 1 to Day 4 and choose the responses that will earn their hearts. Each character has a specific color for their hearts: Zen (grey), Yoosung (green), Jaehee (yellow), Jumin (purple), 707 (red), V (blue), Ray (mint). You can also lose hearts if you choose the wrong responses or ignore them. You can check your heart count on the top right corner of the screen.
Once you get on a character's route, you will have 11 days to complete their story. You will have more chat rooms, phone calls, texts, emails, and visual novel segments with them. You will also have to make choices that will affect your ending. There are three types of endings: good ending, normal ending, and bad ending. To get the good ending, you need to have enough hearts from your chosen character and invite enough guests to the party. To get the normal ending, you need to have enough hearts but not enough guests. To get the bad ending, you need to have too few or too many hearts or make choices that will upset your character or put yourself in danger.
